From mini-campers to classic supercars, our workshop has handled it all under the watchful eye of the Bangers & Cash team. We love the challenge of a 'Restoring Classics' project and are thrilled to share these highlights of our team doing what they do best. The challenge of transforming a quirky 1988 Bedford Rascal into a road-ready "Mini Winnebago".
At The Classic Car Workshop, we thrive on projects that demand more than just a "quick fix." When this 1976 Saab 96 V4 arrived at our Croft workshop, it carried 50 years of family history and nearly as many years of hidden corrosion. What started as a mechanical refresh evolved into our first full bare metal restoration for the show, proving that with enough passion (and a lot of welding wire), any icon can be reborn.
Restoration Details and VideoWhile the car was remarkably solid underneath, it presented a series of mechanical and cosmetic challenges that required expert attention.
Restoration Details and VideoThe Citroën 2CV "Dolly" is the ultimate expression of the "Tin Snail’s" quirky charm. Originally designed for French farmers, its simplicity and innovative engineering made it a cult classic. Our team at the workshop took this 1989 model and focused on resolving mechanical gremlins and bodywork issues to ensure it remains a reliable, "user-friendly" joy to drive.
